The Rules of Dawa.
The success of Dawa (calling to Allah's way) depends on basic rules and guidelines, and the main ones are: 1. Caring about winning people's hearts. This can be achieved through: -A good word (saying). The Almighty Allah said: «Have you not reflected how Allah has set a similitude? A good word is like a good tree, whose roots are firm and its branches are in heaven. It gives its produce every season, by the Leave of its Lord. And Allah sets similitude for people that they may be admonished». [Surat Ibrahîm/ the Prophet Abraham, 24.25]. -Making people feel that they are called to Islam and not to gain personal loot, as an example of this the story of the queen Balqis with the prophet Solomon. When the latter sent a letter to her, she offered a gift to him and said to her people: «if he accepts it he is a king, so you must fight against him, and if he refuses it, he is a prophet, so follow him». The Almighty Allah said: «Take this letter from me and deliver it to them, then stand aside and await their reply. She said: "O chiefs, surely on honorable letter has been cast before me. It is from Solomon and it "In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate". And hold not your head to me in haughtiness, and come to me as Muslims (submitting to the will of Allah). She said: "O chiefs, counsel me on this matter, I would not decide before consulting you". They said: "We are powerful and courageous, but the decision rests with you, so give us your command". She said: "Surely, kings, when they enter a town, ruin it and make the noblest of its people abased, and thus do they behave. And now I am sending them a gift, to see what my emissary brings back. So, when her emissary came to Solomon, Solomon said: "Are you sending us wealth and that which Allah has bestowed on me is better than what he has given you? But it is who rejoice in your gift! Go back to them, and we shall come to them with such hosts as they will never be able to meet, and we shall expel them from there in disgrace, and they shall be abased and utterly humbled". Solomon said: "O chiefs, which one of you will bring me her throne before they come to you in submission? One of Jinn said: "I will bring it to you before you rise from your council, indeed I have full strength and I am trust worthy. The one who possessed knowledge of the scriptures said: "I will bring it to you in the wink of an eye". So, when he saw it before himself, he said: "This is from my Lord's bounty, that he may try me whether I am grateful or ungrateful. And whoever is grateful, indeed my Lord is All sufficient, the Generous". He said: "Disguise her throne for her, and we will see whether she will recognize it or if she will be unable to. So, when she comes, it said: "Is yours like this? She said: "it looks like it". And we were given the knowledge before her and we are Muslims. And that she worshipped other than Allah hindered her, surely she was from a pagan people. It was said to her: "Enter the Palace". And when she saw it she thought it was a pool of water, and she bared her legs, so Solomon said: "It is a palace paved with crystal glass", she said: "My Lord, I have wronged myself and I am now Muslim and have submitted, together with Solomon, to the will of Allah, the Lord of the worlds"». [Surat An-Naml/ the Ants, the Prophet Solomon, 28 to 44]. -Bearing the called people's problems and worries as far as possible. The prophet- may peace be upon him said: «Support your brother tyrant is he or tyrannized. Thus, if he is tyrant bring him to the right way, and if he is tyrannized then support him». [Reported by Al-Boukhari]. There is a saying that says: «Help your brother even with voice». 2. Being a model when calling to Allah's way. The preacher must be a model to the persons called to, either in his behaviours, morals and education, in order to convey successfully the principles and the values of Islam. It is said that: «Actions speak louder than words». The Almighty Allah said: «Do you enjoin the performance of good deeds on the people and neglect it yourselves, while you recite the Book, do you not have any sense? ». [Surat Al-Baqara/ the Heifer, 44]. He also said: «O you who believe! Why do you say that which you do not? It is most detestable in the sight of Allah, that you say what you do not do». [Surat As-Saf/ the Ranks, 2,3]. 3. The priority of introducing Islam to people over charging them with duties. The knowledge of the truth leads to loving and following it. Indeed, obedience is a result of knowledge. a) The obligation of knowing the Almighty Allah: it means to be aware that he is the One and the Only, he has no partners. He is the Creator, the One who sent messengers to His servants to guide them to the right way, and appointed a last day for judgment. He said: «And fear a day when you shall be returned to Allah, then every soul shall be recompensed in all fairness for what it has earned, and none shall be dealt with unjustly». [Surat Al-Baqara/ the Heifer, 281]. b) The servant's knowledge of the essence of his existence: that he is created by the Almighty Allah to worship and obey him. c) The knowledge of the universe: to know that the Almighty Allah created this universe and made man his successor in the earth. This succession requires from him inhabiting the earth and mediating on it. d) Man's knowledge of his inevitable death: he is going to die sooner or later. The Almighty Allah said: «Whoever you are death will overtake you, even though you may be in fortified towers."If they have good fortune they say: "This is from Allah ", and if a misfortune befalls them they say: "This is from you". Say" It is all from Allah. So, what is the matter with these people that they do not try to understand anything». [Surat An-Nissa/ the Women, 78]. Death is a long journey that requires provision, and the best provision is piety. 4. Gradation in charging people with duties. The preacher must charge people progressively with performing pious deeds or rejecting objectionable ones. The Almighty Allah informed us in the Noble Koran that He created the Heavens and the earth in six days. This does not mean that he can not create them at once, but to teach us this principle of gradation in doing things. Indeed, He is the All powerful and the all able to create them in a little while. He said: «And We created the Heavens, the earth and what is between them in six Days, and no weariness touches us». [Surat Qaf/ the letter Qaf, 38]. He also revealed the Koran to the prophet- may peace be upon him on stages for 23 years. He said: « And the unbelievers say: why has the Koran not been revealed to him all at once? This so We may strengthen your heart thereby, and We revealed it part after part». [Surat Al-Furqân/the Criterion, 32]. For this reason the prophet -may peace be upon him was advising his messengers to charge people gradually with duties. As an example of this, he sent Muath Bnu Jabal «You will meet a kin from the People of the Book. Once there, invite them to confess that there no god but Allah and Muhammad is His messenger. If they accept, inform them that Allah has ordained five prayers a day and night. And if they accede to your request, inform them that Allah ordered their rich to pay alms to their poor. If they accept, so be aware of taking their lawful money falsely, and fear the invocation of the tyrannized against you for his invocation is not rejected». [Reported by Al-Boukhari]. 5. The priority of teaching the rudiments over the branches. This rule implies that the preacher must give precedence to the bases (faith and worship) over its branches, and consider its totalities rather than busying oneself with the diverging subsidiary matters. In fact, dealing with such matters leads to the waste of time, energy and the missing of the objectives. 6. Facilitating things and not hardening them. The preacher must not be too stern with people. He must simplify to them his message. The prophet- may peace be upon him said: «Facilitate things and do not harden them». [Reported by Anass]. He also said: «You are sent to facilitate things and not to harden them». [Reported by Al-Boukhari from Abi Hurayra]. In the Islamic Fiqh there are many alleviations and permissions such as that of substitution for example, the substitution of water for clean sand or earth (Tayamum) when water is not available to make ablution or in case of inability to use it. And that of abrogation: such as the abrogation of some worships for legal reasons, ex: not fasting during Ramadhan due to illness. The Almighty Allah said: «Allah desires to make things easier for you, for mankind is created weak (to resist his lusts) ». [Surat An-Nissa/ the Women, 28]. 7. Giving glade-tidings to people and not frightening them. The preacher must make people love the Almighty Allah in order to worship him, and inform them that obeying Allah is all good for them in this world and in the Hereafter. For this reason, the Almighty Allah sent down messengers and settled divine legislations, He said: «And we did not send you but as a mercy to all beings». [Surat Al-Anbiyâ/ the Prophets, 107]. 8. The priority of awakening people's desires for Islam over horrifying them. The preacher must introduce first the verses and the Ahadith that arouse people's interest in Islam and make them love the Almighty Allah, then the frightening ones. Indeed, Allah has names of beauty like the Merciful, the Compassionate, the Sublime, the Forgiver, the Most Affectionate, and names of majesty like the superior, Force, the Compeller, the Supreme Avenger… Among the texts that show this, the following ones. «The One who created me, and He guides me. And He gives me to eat and to drink, and who heals me when I am sick, and who ordains me to die, then gives me life, and whom I hope will forgive me my sins on the Day of Judgment…». [Surat Ash-Shua'ra/the Poets, verses from 78 to 82]. «And We shall remove whatever ill-feeling had been in their chests against one another, the rivers shall flow beneath them and they shall say: "Praise be to Allah, who has guided us to this, indeed our Lord's messengers came with truth and we would never have been guided if Allah had not guided us" and they shall hear a call, "this is your paradise which you have inherited for righteous deeds». [Surat Al-Arâaf/the Heights, 43]. He also said: Say: «O my servant who have transgressed against their souls, do not despair of Allah's mercy, surely Allah forgives all sins, surely he is the All Forgiving, the Most Merciful». [Surat Az-Zumar/the companies, 53]. «And I have said: "Ask for forgiveness from your Lord, indeed He is the Most Forgiving». [Surat Nooh/Noah, 10]. Abu Hurayra reported that the prophet- may peace be upon him said: «Do you know if a stream flows before your house door and you wash from it five times a day, that it remains from your filth something? They said: "Nothing will remain. The prophet said: "So likewise Allah the Great wipes out misdeeds with prayer». [Reported by Al-Boukhari]. Abu Hurayra reported that the prophet -may peace be upon him said: Allah the Great said: « I have prepared for my righteous slaves what no eye has seen nor any ear has heard nor any human mind has realized (non it has occurred to any human being) ». [Reported by Al-Bukhari]. 9. The priority of the abandonment of bad habits over acquiring good ones. This rule implies the precedence of relinquishing the bad thoughts and behaviours over taking on good habits and virtues. Indeed, the Almighty Allah preceded the abandonment of worshiping the false deities over believing in him, He said: «Whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah, and then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break. And Allah is all Hearer, All Knower». [Surat Al-Baqara/ the Heifer, 256]. 10. The priority of altering the selves over the actualities. The Almighty Allah said: «Surely Allah does not change the condition of people unless they change what is in themselves». [Surat Ar'Râd/ the Thunder, 11]. This verse indicates the necessity of devoting all ones time and energy to change the selves and not sparing them in altering the actualities for the latter will be changed only when people transform what is in themselves. 11. Facilitating repentance and discouraging the perpetration of sin. The preacher must embolden the insubordinates to repent by opening to them the doors of repentance and hearten them to return to Allah. The Almighty Allah said: «O my servant who have transgressed against their souls, do not despair of Allah's mercy, surely Allah forgives all sins, and surely he is the All Forgiving, the Most Merciful». [Surat Az-Zumar/the companies, 53]. It is said in the Hadith Qudusi (it is the Hadith whose meaning is revealed by Allah, and its words are the prophet's): «The Jin, human being and I are in great news. I great and others are adored. I bestow on them bounty and others are thanked. My benevolence goes down to them, and their wickedness goes up to Me. I give them wealth and I am in no need of them. They do not thank Me and they are in need of Me. The one who comes to Me, I receive him from the far distance, and the one who abstains from Me I call on him from the near distance. Those who thank Me I give them more opulence, and those who adore (worship) Me are the honorable. I am always with those who remember Me, and those who disobey Me are never repulsed from My mercy. I thank the little (easy) work and I pardon plenty of errors». [Reported by Abu Dawűd]. Ibn Al-Qaim made a commentary on this Hadith, he said: «Allah is delighted at His servant's repentance. His delight is that of beneficence and charity and not that of a Lord who is in need to his servant's repentance». 12. The continuity of education after repentance. The repentant need perpetual education to remain so repentant). The Almighty Allah said: «Surely those who say: "Our Lord is Allah" and stand steadfast, they shall not fear nor shall they grieve». [Surat Al-Ahqâf/ the Sand Dunes, 13]. The repentant shall not treat the others insubordinates haughtily; he must not forget that he was once a disobedient and Allah guided him to the right way, he said: «…You were like that before but Allah showed his grace upon you...». [Surat An-Nissâ/ the Women, from the verse 94]. 13. Correcting the thought before directing the behaviours. Steering the repentant's thoughts shall have precedence, because behaviours are particle translation of thoughts. Indeed, the Muslim must not be ignorant. The understanding of the Muslim Nation's matters and interacting with them are among the requisites for the steadiness of thought. 14. Adjusting the beginnings, steering the steps and striving to achieve the aims. In his mission of Dawa the preacher goes through many stages, therefore he needs constant guidance to remain steadfast. He should also endeavour to realize the appointed aims of Dawa: long-term, short-term and medium-term aims at all levels. 15. The precedence of understanding over learning by heart. This rule implies the necessity of impressing and deepening the understanding for this guarantees the memorization and adjusts the behaviours. The Almighty Allah said: «And We inspired Solomon to understand it, and we gave to each of them wisdom and knowledge…». [Surat Al-Anbiya/the prophets, 79». 16. Working towards unifying the souls and not the corps. The preacher must work towards making people's hearts go out of others, as to realize the aim of the following Hadith. The prophet-may peace be upon him said: « The similitude of the believers in regard to mutual love, affection, fellow-feeling is that of one body; when any part of it aches, the whole body shares its sleeplessness and fever».[Reported by Al-Boukhari and Muslim]. Indeed, it is necessary to strive after joining up the Muslims, and strengthen and to deepen the senses of love and brotherhood in Allah between them. 17. Achieving faithfulness and devotion to Allah. This rule shows that the preacher must be sincere with Allah and devote to Him all his deeds to, and to be nothing but a truthful preacher. Moreover, he must worship none but Allah. The Almighty Allah said: «Surely We have revealed to you the Koran with truth, so worship Allah sincerely in devotion to him alone. Surely sincere religion is for Allah alone, and those who take guardians other than him saying: "We only worship them that they may bring us closer to Allah", Allah will judge between them in that wherein they differ. Indeed, Allah does not guide any ungrateful liar». [Surat Az-Zumar/ the companies, 2, 3]. He also said: «And they were not enjoined but to worship Allah alone in sincere devotion, and with purity of faith, and to establish prayer, and to pay alms. Surely this is the faith of the upright nation». [Surat Al-Bayina/ the Clear Evidence, 5]. Among the meanings of faithfulness: -Disowning the enemies of Allah and His religion, and being totally submissive to Allah. The Almighty Allah said: «O you who believe! Do not take My enemies and yours for friends, offering them friendship, while they have rejected the truth that has come to you, and expelling the messengers and you only because you believe in Allah your Lord. If you go forth to strive in My cause and seeking My good pleasure, (take them not as friends) holding secret converse of friendship with them, while I am best aware of what you hide and what reveal, and whoever of you does that, has truly gone astray from the right path. If they have upper hand over you, they will be your enemies, and will stretch out their hands and their tongues towards your will evil intent, and they wish that you may disbelieve. Neither your blood relatives nor your children will avail you, on the Day of resurrection He shall sever the ties between you, and Allah sees whatever you do». [Surat Al-Mumtahana/ the Examined One, 2, 3]. He also said: «The believers should not take the unbelievers, nor other than the believers, for allies, and whoever does this has deprived himself from Allah's blessing, but you should guard yourselves against them in devotion to Allah, and Allah cautions you directly, and to Allah is the final destiny». [Surat Al-Imrân/ the Family of Imrân, 28]. He also said: «And Abraham prayed for his father forgiveness only because of a promise he had made for him, but when it became clear to him that his father was the enemy of Allah, he disavowed him, surely Abraham was most tender hearted, forbearing». [Surat Tauba/ Repentance, 114]. Al-Buhaiqi reported in his "Musnad" from Abd Allah bnu Messoud –may Allah be pleased with him that the prophet- may peace be upon him said: «O Ibn Messoud! Do you know which of Islam bounds is most firm? » He said: "Allah and his messenger know". He said: «It is loyalty to Allah, loving and hating for Allah's sake». Indeed the prophet's life was a true picture of loyalty and devotion to Allah: in his tenet, worship and transactions. 18. Calling to Allah's way with insight. It implies that the promulgation of Islam must be done with understanding, knowledge and clear insight, in saying and deeds. This will be only by the acquaintance with people's psychological, intellectual and social state. The Almighty Allah said: « Say this is my way, I invite to Allah with sure knowledge, and I call whoever follows me. And glory be to Allah! Never will I associate partners with Allah». [Surat Yusuf/Joseph, 108]. 19. Seizing the occurred instrumentalities with a possible effort and waiting Allah's assistance. a) Seizing the occurred instrumentalities: the preacher must consider all the available opportunities. He has to work according to the prophet' saying: «Resolve upon something, then trust in Allah». The Almighty Allah said: «And those who believe, and have emigrated and have striven in Allah's cause and those who gave refuge to the emigrants and helped them, those are the true believers, for them there is forgiveness and a most generous provision». [Surat Al-Anfâl/ the spoils of war, 74]. b) With a possible effort: the preacher must spend his possible efforts to the limits of his ability and energy. The Almighty Allah said: «Allah does not impose on any soul a burden greater that it can bear, it receives every good that it earns, and it suffers evil that it earns». [Surat Al-Baqara/ the Heifer, 286]. c) Waiting Allah's assistance: when the preacher seizes the obtainable opportunities, he shall wait success that is granted only by Allah. The Almighty Allah said: «And Allah made this as a glade tiding for you and to assure your hearts with it, and victory is only from Allah the Almighty, the All Wise». [Surat Al-Imrân/ the Family of Imrân, 126]. 20. Comprehensiveness in understanding and specialization in action. This rule implies understanding Islam and recognizing its ability to regulate all the aspects of life at the individual level or the collective one. It also indicates the necessity to specialize in a given domain so that there will be cooperation between those who work for the sake of Allah (in the field of Dawa). 21. Giving advice in a well mannered way. Every man is up to go wrong, and the believer should be the mirror of his brother believer. Thus, it is obligatory to advise people when necessary. The Almighty Allah said: «And enjoin each other to follow the truth, and enjoin each other to be steadfast». [Surat Al-Asr/ Time through the Ages, 3]. The prophet may peace be upon him said: «Religion is advice» we said (the Sahaba): "To whom o messenger of Allah? He said: "To Allah, His Book, His messengers, the leaders of the Muslims, and their common folk». [Reported by Muslim]. Omar Bnu Al-Khatâb said: «May Allah have mercy upon he who tells me my shortcomings». Its ethics. -Faithfulness. -Giving it secretly: through letter, cassettes, dual meeting… -Be lenient with people, because the latter have a distaste for aggression and harshness. The Almighty Allah said: «It was by Allah's mercy that you were kind to them, had you been harsh and heard of heart, they would have dispersed from around you…». [Surat Al-Imrân/ the Family of Imran,159]. Ibn Abass- may Allah be pleased with them reported that the prophet-may peace be upon him said to Ashbah bnu Abd qaiss: «You have two characteristics that Allah likes: leniency and forbearance». [Reported by Muslim]. Aicha (the prophet's wife) reported that the prophet-may peace be upon him said «Leniency embellishes the thing that contains it, and the thing that contains no leniency is disgraceful». [Reported by Al-Boukhari]. 22. Being aware of the afflictions. Many words that have approximate meaning with the word "ordeal" are mentioned in the Koran, like trial, test. 1. Ordeal. The Almighty Allah said: «…And We try you by evil and good for testing, then to Us shall you be returned». [Surat Al-Anbiyâ/ the Prophets, 35]. He also said: «So when Talut went forth with the armies he said: "Allh will try you at the stream, whoever drinks of its water will not be my companion…». [Surat As-Sâffât/ the Ranged in Ranks, 106]. 2. Trial. The Almighty Allah said: «Do the people think that they will be left to say: "We believe" and they shall not be tried? And We have already tried those who are true and the liars». [Surat Al-Ankabut/the Spider, 2,3]. «The Day when they will be tormented at the Fire. Taste your torment! This is what you sought to hasten». [Surat Adhariât/ the Wind that Scatter, 13, 14]. 3. Test «Surely those who lower their voices in the presence of Allah's messenger, those are they who Allah has tested for piety, they shall have forgiveness and a great reward». [Surat Al-Hujurât/ the Chambers, 3]. Ordeal is Allah's rule in the universe. The Almighty Allah said: «Indeed, We created mankind of a small quantity of mingled liquid, to try him, so We made him hearing and seeing». [Surat Al-Inssân/ Mankind, 2]. Life is the world of ordeal, and the Hereafter is the world of reward. The Almighty Allah said: «Every soul shall taste death, and you shall surely be paid fully your reward on the Day of Resurrection, then whoever is thrust away from the Fire and is admitted to paradise has succeeded, and the life of this world is nothing more than a deceiving vanity». [Surat Al-Imrân/ the Family of Imrân, 185]. Ali Bnu Abi Taleb said: «Life is going by and the hereafter is coming, and for each of them its people. So, be among the people of the Hereafter and not those of the life…. Indeed, today (life) is for work and not for judgment, and tomorrow (the Hereafter) is for judgment and not for work». The believer is afflicted. The Almighty Allah said: «And surely We will try you with some of rear and hunger, and diminishment of wealth, lives and gains, but give glade tidings to those who are patient. Who say when catastrophe strikes them, to Allah we belongs and to him we return. Those are they on whom are prayers and mercy from their Lord, and those are the rightly guided». [Surat Al-Baqara/the Heifer, 155, 156, 157]. 23. Steadiness in the path of Dawa. 1. Its definition: in the Arabic language the word "Thabât" (steadiness) has many meanings, among them: strengthening, endurance, and patience, resistance, and stability. 2. Its meaning in the Koran: a) The firmness of the heart. The Almighty Allah said: « And the unbelievers say: "Why has the Koran not been revealed to him all at once? This is so we may strengthen your heart thereby, and We revealed part after part». [Surat Al-Furqân/ the Criterion, 32]. Among the invocations of the prophet, the following ones: «O my Lord! Make my heart constant on your religion». «O you, who change the hearts, make ours steady on your religion». Ali Bnu Abi Taleb- may Allah honor him- said to the prophet- may peace be upon him when he sent him to Yemen: « They are more aged than me». The prophet said: «Go! Surely Allah will make you fluent, and guide you ». [Reported by Abu Dâwud». b) Steadiness in moment when one shall be just and right. The Almighty Allah said: «Allah makes the believers hold firm to the truth in this life and in the Hereafter...». [Surat Ibrahîm/ Abraham, 27]. c) Bravery and intrepidity when fighting the enemies. The Almighty Allah said: «O you who believe! If you strive for Allah's cause, he will help you and you steadfast». [Surat Muhammad, 7]. He also said: «O you who believe! When you meet a host in combat, be steadfast and remember Allah frequently, that you may gain victory». [Surat Al-Anfâl/ the Spoils of War, 45]. 3. The Fruits of steadiness. -Sincere faith. -Sincere worship. -The continuity of the good deeds. -Uprightness. -Endurance and Patience. -Surmounting the obstacles. -The unity of the Muslim rows (Islamic brotherhood). -Trust and confidence in Allah. -Working towards the consolidation of Islam and its spreading. 24. Ordaining all what is good and forbidding all what is wrong. This rule is among the main bases upon which the call to Allah depends, and it is one of the characteristics of the Muslim Nation. The Almighty Allah said: «You are the best nation to have been raised up for human kind. You enjoin what is right, and forbid what is wrong, and you believe in Allah». [Surat Al-Imrân/ the Family of Imrân, 110]. He also said: «And be a nation inviting to uprightness and enjoining right and forbidding wrong, those they are the successful». [Surat Al-Imrân/ the Family of Imrân, 104]. The prophet- may peace be upon him said: «He who sees atrocious acts must alter them by his hands (i.e. authority), and if he is not able, so with his tongue (.i.e. saying/ advice) and if he is unable, so with his heart (i.e. denying it), and this is the lowest degree of faith (.i.e. the least that one can do) ». This characteristic confirms the liveliness of the Muslim's heart. In this context, Ibn Al-Qaim said in his Madâridj As-Sâlikîn: «He (the Muslim) likes good and hates objectionable». The application of this rule should be in conformity to religion and its principles. Indeed, "right" is what the Islamic Sharia affirmed, and "wrong" is what it disavows. 25. Considering the different types of Fiqh (understanding). The prophet- may peace be upon him said: « The one whom Allah likes makes him skilled in religion». [Reported by Al-Boukhari]. Among the types of Fiqh (understandings) that help the preacher to promulgate Islam, the following ones: -The understanding of the texts (Koran and Ahadith). -The understanding of the aims of Sharia. -The understanding of comparing/ parallels. -The understanding of divergence. - The understanding of the priorities. - The understanding of the actuality.
Conclusion The path of Dawa is full of hindrances and surprises. The fulfillment of the fixed goals will not be possible but with a deep understanding of revelation, a clear analysis of the successful experiences in the field of Dawa, and with wisdom. The Almighty Allah said: «He bestowed wisdom upon whoever he pleases, and whoever has wisdom bestowed upon him indeed has been endowed with a bounty overflowing, yet none remember but those who possess minds». [Surat Al-Baqara/ the Heifer, 269]. This goal will be also realized by assimilating the latest developments and grasping the obstacles and the challenges that the preacher may face. My trust in Allah is too tremendous; I hope the efforts of the preachers and the energies of those who work for the sake of Islam may cooperate in order to lift darkness, refute the suspicions about Islam, awaken the sleepers, stir the inadvertent, and guide the perplexed. Indeed, the task of calling to Allah's way requires constant service and perpetual care and guidance. It also needs love, sacrifice and brilliant minds to nourish it with knowledge and understanding. Thus the factors of the upswing of our Dawa, and the means of our nation's development and flourishing will be realized.
This is the summery of the courses of Fiqh of Dawa held in Arezeki Charfaoui mosque- Tizi-ouzou. They were delivered regularly to people of different ages may Allah protect them.
